In the wake of the recent devastating floods that struck the Matlosana region, many families have suffered tremendous losses, including their homes, possessions, and in some tragic cases, loved ones. Responding to the crisis, Rio Casino partnered with the City of Matlosana Municipality to assist those affected.

A joint delegation from the Rio CSI Team and the municipality visited Sunny Side informal settlement, one of the worst-hit areas, to assess the damage and provide immediate relief. During the visit, food parcels and essential supplies were distributed to affected families.

In a poignant moment, the team also visited a grieving family who lost a child at a flooded water bridge, offering condolences and support during this difficult time. Their efforts reflect a heartfelt commitment to standing by the community in times of need.
